Sized to sit atop a dresser or desk, this box is the perfect place for your wallet, pens, and keys, with plenty of room left for other valuables. The lid is figured veneer over Baltic Birch plywood, and it's edges are painted with a custom milk paint. The pull is made from quartersawn hardwood. There are no hinges! Instead, the back edge of the lid falls into a deep groove as you open it. Closing the lid is as simple as gently pulling the lid downward. (You don't need to lift it out of the groove.) The box is made from basswood, and is painted with a lighter color that compliments that edge of the lid. A bright and fun fabric lines the interior.
For folks in Australia and New Zealand, this box is a wood product. It is free of bark, borer holes, soil, and live insects or larvae. It is a finished/lacquered item made from from kiln-dried woods.
